Bay Area Mentors:

Many of the mentors have been providing feedback to my colleague Mia Lincoln about ways that your group could engage with SAP Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and support nonprofit organizations with skills-based volunteering.  I look forward to seeing the final result upcoming!

In the short term, I'd like to share a potential skills-based volunteer opportunity in the Bay Area:  A Lumira Marathon, tentative date:  December 10th (9am - 2pm) in the SAP Palo Alto office.  If you are interested in participating or would like to learn more connect with me here or directly @ heather.czech@sap.com

The purpose of the event is to help nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area better understand their organization, engage volunteers, optimize fund raising campaigns or assess community impact through the use of SAP Lumira.  Representatives from several nonprofits will be partnered with SAP colleagues and Mentors, and these teams will work together to understand the nonprofits business requirements and the analytics problem to be solved, build a data visualization, and do knowledge transfer to help ensure the nonprofit can effectively use Lumira after the event.

The event is an oustanding way to to make an impact at a nonprofit organization in a single day.  If you have data visualization, SAP Lumira or other relevant skills please consider participating.  At the moment we are confirming that we have enough nonprofit organizations and colleagues from the SAP ecosystem available to have a meaningful event on the 10th.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you!

Regards,

Heather
